Weekly Gratitude 2022 6/52

Happy Sunday, everyone! How are we only six weeks into 2022 but also feeling like it should be the end of the year? Or is that just me? I’ve had a week where my mind has felt all over the place and that’s usually an end-of-year feeling for me. There are multiple tabs open in my brain and despite my intention for this year, I’m struggling to focus on just one tab at a time. It’s not a good start if I say so myself. Anyway, it’s that time of the week though for me to look back with gratitude at the week from 30th January to 5th February 2022:

Sunday morning writing session at a café

Sunday afternoon walk around Malabar headland followed by swims at Maroubra beach with good company and chats

Catch up with my friend on Tuesday after work for a swim in the rain. It was stinking hot but rained in the end but we still swam

Being contacted during the week by someone I used to supervise asking if I could supervise them again as they had a new job

Two new referrals for my private work

Week 6

Updating my private practice website and getting help with redirecting domain names

Being invited to speak at an online conference in a few weeks time as part of work

Being told an essay of mine will be published in the upcoming issue of kindling & sage

Catch up for drinks and dinner with Sammie

Starting Saturday morning private practice at a medical practice

Despite feeling a bit all over the place this week, I’ve also been quite content and grateful for a lot of things. The private practice stuff is certainly taking up a lot of brain space in terms of planning and setting up but I’m aware that this is for now and in the long run, I can focus on the client work alone. The week ahead is going to be a busy one with a lot of planning around my other role, which also means deadlines. I hope though, to have some time for reading, writing, and the beach and to be able to savour it all.

How has your week been?

Do share!

So proud of you – I really feel that 2022 is going to be the Year of Sanch – for starters you’ve had essays published, been invited to speak at international conferences and are building a successful private practice, and it’s only February! Go you!

I can see from your writing and sharing that you are in a state of flux and change…and I am feeling that too for me. I know these kinds of transitions are very challenging. Sigh. Glad to read of the private clients building. Thank you for sharing Your blog post linked for #LifeThisWeek. I look forward to seeing you again when you next link up! Warm wishes. Denyse.

I’m back to blogging after ages, all the time asking myself if people are still blogging or not?

I’m so happy to see your page and the regular updates! Kudos to you to keep it going!

Congrats on the private practice! I’m using too many exclamations I know, but I’m just excited to be here after God knows how long!!! 😀
