Weekly Gratitude 2022 5/52

Happy Sunday, readers! It’s that time of the week when I look back on all that I’m grateful for. It’s been a decent week despite the malaise I’m feeling at work. Everything else in life is fine. Just work. I know I should be grateful I get to work but at the same time, there are things that I’m struggling with at the workplace. But oh well. It’s stuff I’m figuring out. In the meantime, here’s all that I’m grateful for from 23rd January to 29th January 2022:

Sunday morning writing in a café with a writer friend

Sunday afternoon walk around Centennial Park followed by drinks at One Drop Brewery with good company

Getting a referral for my private practice via a recommendation from another client – that was a great feeling!

Beach time most days this week – after work on some days, and on Saturday

Going to the theatre to watch Museum of Modern Love on Tuesday night – I was so anxious but got through it and the play was great!

Week 5

Enjoying sharing Wordle love with online friends even though I’ve been playing it since December

Friday morning breakfast with a work friend

Friday evening beach hangs with my friend SS

Finishing some good books this week

Chatting with my sister on Saturday

It’s been nice to have good weather this week and I know it’s not going to last long. I have enjoyed savouring it. Hopefully, the malaise with work will pass in time.

How has your week been?

Do share!

I’ve been trying to enjoy outside/downtime in my days off between jobs. And a heatwave incoming… lots of aircon hibernation days in the future so I want that fresh air while I can get it.

It’s a very weird time. I’ve been fine at theatre (all masked) but cinema I get more nervous in (cos people don’t wear their masks) and we are only just starting to do restaurants this week. Will see how that goes…..
Hope your work is improving – I think I’ve missed something there.

Yay for beach time! Apart from work, it sounds like a very fulfilling week. Super envious that you went to One Drop!

Love the idea of beach time after work Sanch! A big week for you and my week was much the same, in fact it’s been a huge month with lots of ups and downs. Maybe it’s the times we live in! #lifethisweek

I love how much you enjoy the beach. Whereas for me it conjures up images of being hot and sandy and sticky. And hot. And did I mention hot? I hope the weather stays fine there. We’ve had lots of rain over the past month and it’s been quite hot in between – not scary hot – just 31-35C kinda thing but…. ugh!

Yay for another referral for a client. I know it’s something you’ve been worried about but I think you’re going to do really well.
