Weekly Gratitude 2022 3/52

Welcome to a late edition of my weekly gratitude post. I was busy enjoying my Sunday and limiting my digital use but I will be backdating this post. During a week where I raged about the government, felt a little bit of dread about some work stuff, but also managed to have a long weekend, it was a mixed bag. Without further ado, here are all things I’m grateful for from 9th January to 15th January 2022:

A lovely walk around Balls Head Reserve and Berry Island on a grey Sunday with good company

Coffee, walk and talk with Sammie and Teddy on my day off on Wednesday

Receiving a new referral for a teenage client on Monday

Pizza with friends on Wednesday night

Receiving some thoughtful birthday presents early

Week 3

Getting my hair regrowth done on Thursday and enjoying a glass of rosé while at it

Beach time on an annual leave day on Friday

Nice night out on Friday night

Buying sunflowers on Saturday at the markets

Walking in my hood on Saturday

It’s been an all right week amidst some shitty news. I’ve got Monday off work too and then it’s back full swing, without any long weekends until March. Am I ready? I doubt it! Will I do it? Yes, because what other choice is there.

Always good to find the bright spots in mixed bag or shitty weeks. Walks always make my list too.

Lots of good things in your week, this week Sanch. By the way I did a fair bit of ranting and raging about the government this week too. Hard not to.

Do you mean shitty news for you Sanch or shitty news in general?

I love that you’re able to have balance in your life no matter what’s happening – good and bad. (Well it seems like that from the outside.) I tend to drop the ball on everything when life is sucking. (Which I do realise makes everything worse!)

And again… happy belated birthday! xx

Happy Birthday even though I am not sure which day it is!! I hope that work can improve for you, the dread feeling is yuck. I also know that with Sammie eventually leaving Oz, you will have a large whole in your support network. Sad but glad for her too.

I appreciated you taking the time to write a post and link it up for Life This Week on my blog this week. Thank you kindly. Denyse.
