Weekly Gratitude 2022 1/52

Welcome to the first weekly gratitude installment for 2022. It’s been a week with a lot to be grateful for especially as I’ve been on a break and feel well and truly relaxed. Without further ado, here’s looking back with gratitude from 26th December 2021 to 1st January 2022:

Spending a rainy Boxing Day on the couch watching the Boxing Day test and also finding time to declutter. I love this time of the year for days like these!

Reading, listening to music, watching the cricket, napping – it’s so good to be able to do that after a big year

Finding Rapid Antigen Tests at the local supermarket and stocking up on necessities like medications

Reading at the bar mid-week

Beach days every single day from Thursday once the weather was summery again

Week 1 – 2022

Thursday at the beach with a couple of friends and having good chats and enjoying the waves

Spending time reflecting on 2021 and setting intentions for the year ahead

Managing to catch some of the Sydney fireworks from the bottom of my apartment block. I’m glad I made it because it was lovely to hear the joy and hope in everyone’s voice as the fireworks were set off. After all, in this time, we can certainly do with more hope

Starting my New Year the way I intend to continue – writing, gym, beach, reading

Spending New Year’s Day with one of my oldest friends here in Aus and her husband – we went to the beach, enjoyed lunch by the water – and had a lovely time

It’s been a lovely week and I’m not ready to go back to work on Tuesday but I am hoping it’ll be a quiet return to work. I’m still working from home this month except for my private clients so hopefully, I’ll still have enough time for beach hangs after work or during lunch breaks.

How has your week been? Have you been in holiday mode?

Do share!
