Gratitude

Weekly Gratitude 2021 23/52

Happy Sunday everyone! I have a lovely day hiking with a friend and consequently, today’s gratitude post is coming to you late in the evening. My week was busy with social commitments and work and though I felt scattered at work, I managed to get through the workweek in one piece. That said, I can’t believe it’s almost the end of the weekend. Anyway, here’s all I’m grateful for from 30th May to 5th June 2021:

Going for a lovely walk around the neighbourhood for a couple of hours on Sunday; this included a visit to the bookstore {and buying books} and the bakery for a fresh baguette

Sitting in a cafe and enjoying lunch on Sunday

Sunday night strolls by the harbour

Finding out on Monday that Sammie got an exemption to go to the UK

My sister designing a fabulous logo for my private practice {She’s also the one who has designed the header for this website}

Enjoying a mid-week cocktail and attempting a #BooksInBars at the same time. I was waiting to join a friend for dinner after

Lovely mid-week catch up with my friend JR in the city

Thursday night on the couch with cats for company and cuddles

Girl’s night out on Friday with some of my girlfriends; I ended up staying out till 3 a.m. with one other friend and enjoyed a whole bunch of cocktails and great chats. I haven’t done something like that in years!!

Recuperating on Saturday but then getting to watch a lovely sunset as I left the house again to clear my head

How has your week been?

Do share!

I didn’t know your sister designed your banner / logo – she’s very talented.

I love that you’re so active on weekends and know I say (or at least) think that every time I see you out and about. Alone or with others. I wanna be like you when I grow up! xx

Your sister is very talented Sanch (your header on this blog is gorgeous!) and oh I’m so glad to hear Sammie got an exemption and has gone to the UK. Thank goodness! BTW – I can agree with you on how wonderful cat cuddles on the couch are! Have a wonderful week! xo

Social commitments sounds fantastic to me!
We went on a road trip yesterday and found that some pubs in Kerry were open although the official reopening day (for outdoor service) would be today. We had a drink outside a pub in Kenmare, and seeing other people around outdoor tables… it almost felt like normal! It was absolutely lovely. 🙂

Clever sister and yes, to Sammie getting the clearance to fly home to the UK. It sure was a heck of a week and more for her.
Hope your weeks continue to go well. A holiday Monday coming up and I hope you get outside (freezing though) for some of it.

Thank you for linking up for Life This Week. It’s a great community that I enjoy hosting and your posts help make this so! Next week the optional prompt is 24/51 Nourish. 14 June. See you then I hope. Denyse
