Gratitude

Weekly Gratitude 2021 22/52

Happy Sunday lovely readers! I am writing this post while trapped on the couch by a sleepy cat. There ‘s so much I want to get done including going for a walk but when there’s a cat on your lap, it’d be rude to wake them. My week has been mainly filled with work stuff with a few social things peppered in between. Amidst it all, there’s still time to practice gratitude. Here are all the things I’m grateful for from 23rd May to 29th May 2021:

Spending a couple of hours on Sunday morning at the Bark in the Park event – I met a bunch of doggos and also spent time with Teddy and his pawrents

Catching up with the lovely PV via FaceTime; she’s been a bloggy friend for over a decade

Meal prepping for the week – slowly getting back to organising my meals again

Reaching a new personal best with bench press after focussing on technique – 30 kgs {6x6x6}

Getting a new phone number for my private practice work; I learnt this week you can have an eSim with a lot of phones and don’t actually need a second phone. Mind blown!

Surviving the working week; had some doozy risk issues pop up on Friday {unsurprisingly} but managed to get through it

Cosy nights in on Wednesday and Thursday because I felt a bit meh

Enjoying some live music on Friday night – I went to see Fox Company {a Sydney-band I hadn’t heard of} at The Vanguard. They were great live as were the support acts, particularly, High {or The Art as they’re known on Spotify} Once again, it was a great indication of how much live music energises me

Lovely latte art in my coffees this week at Charlie and Franks, my favourite cafe

Spontaneous Saturday night catch up with a friend

It’s not been a momentous week by any means but it’s all the little things that have slowly added up. For that, I’m always grateful.

How has your week been?

Do share!

    Sanch I always say it’s the small simple things that mean the most. Sounds like you’ve had a great week.

    It was so good seeing you on Sunday and all the cute doggos, of course! Sounds like you have had a great week. Sometimes I think it’s the simplest things that make us happiest.
