Weekly Gratitude 2021 18/52

Hello everyone! I’m coming to you very late this Sunday after returning home from holidays around midday but then, heading out again to a Sydney Writer’s Festival event and lovely catch up. It’s been a great day and it’s time though to look back at my week with gratitude from 25th April to 1st May 2021:

Spending Sunday morning at Huskisson beach in the glorious sunshine

Lovely lazy afternoon at Jervis Bay Brewing Co – sipping beers, enjoying live music and reading

Monday at Hyams Beach – one of my favourite places especially when it’s not tourist season. It’s paradise!

Tuesday night checking out Bentspoke Brewery in Canberra with my friend JR

Wednesday spent exploring Canberra’s art gallery, parliament house and just wandering through the streets

Wednesday evening at Capital brewing

Thursday with short hikes, an afternoon in the sun by the lake and a lovely dinner at Lazy Su in Canberra

Exploring different cafes in Huskisson and Canberra

Visiting bookstores during my trip – BooBook on Owen at Huskisson, The Book Cow in Canberra, and Muse in Canberra,

My parents being stable despite contracting the crappy virus that’s going around in India

Celebrating a friend’s 40th with a weekend away in Capertee in NSW

Overall, feeling relaxed and grateful that I could go away for an entire week

It’s been a lovely week with a mix of things, My sinuses played up a fair bit in Canberra and I’m hoping it’s not going to be recurring issue in the coming months. I am back home but have yet another week off as a staycation. Some of it will involve life admin, some will be relaxing.

How was your week?

Do share!

This past week certainly sounds like a fun one with lots of different outings. It’s so sad that here we’re still in lockdown so no outings for me. So glad though that your parents are stable.
