Weekly Gratitude 2021 13/52

Happy sunny Sunday, people! After the miserable weather last weekend, it’s been glorious to have sunshiney days this weekend. It’s been another full-on week at work and I welcomed the weekend emotionally drained. I realise I’ve dropped the ball significantly in engaging in this space and visiting your blogs these past few weeks and I do apologise for that. I am grateful for all the comments here and endeavour to visit your spaces and engage this week. Anyway, without further ado, here are all the things I am grateful for from 21 March to 27 March 2021:

A little respite from the rain on Sunday which allowed me to get out and grab a coffee with a friend

Getting through a difficult conversation with someone; it needed to be done and I’m grateful they listened

Good gym training sessions all week

Really good and helpful clinical supervision session

Catching some gorgeous sunrises from my balcony after the weather cleared

Dinner catch up with my friend JR mid-week

Week 13/52

Cuddles from the gym doggo, Jellybean on Thursday

Catch up for drinks and dinner with Sammie on Thursday night which ended with some Teddy cuddles

Having a friend over on Friday night for dinner and drinks

A sunny weekend

Productive Saturday getting through life admin but also managing some time at a newish beach

Lovely long evening walks by myself on Saturday by the harbour

It’s been another full-on week with work but I’ve managed to keep afloat with the help of friends and supportive colleagues. I am glad the week ahead is a short one thanks to the Easter long weekend. I don’t have major plans yet apart from a catch up and a wedding to attend but I’m also hoping to relax a fair bit.

How has your week been?

Do share!

The sunrises look so good – high rise living advantage, I suppose!

Enjoy your Easter long weekend Sanch and I hope you can manage to relax and unwind a bit from what sounds like a fairly full on time lately. Lovely sunrise shots after all the rain, #lifethisweek

I love that you and Sammie are catching up regularly. I just had a 1hr 20min conversation on the phone with my bestie in Brisbane and she and my mother are the only people I talk to on the phone and I realise how much I miss having someone I feel really close to / can share stuff with.

Of course it’s wonderful you’re keeping up your exercise as well. And I saw that pic of you in your bikini…. you look(ed) fabulous. (Is it appropriate to say that I wonder?! But you did and I was a smidge jealous!)

I always enjoy your photos and what your grateful for. It makes me think a bit more about my own gratitude list.

I sure have been concerned about your health and how much life and work is draining from you but also glad to see your awareness and that you have good strategies for yourself.

If I was living in Sydney again, I would be wanting to go to Rick Morton’s book launch this weekend at Better Dead Than Read. He is doing the rounds a lot on media but his words are to treasure.

Thank you for linking up for Life This Week, and as we approach the changing month to April, may you have some good weather where it’s enjoyable to be outside. Next week, the optional prompt is the second of the Self Care stories. Are you self caring enough? See you on Monday 5 April for #lifethisweek link up. Denyse.
