Weekly Gratitude 2021 5/52

Good Morning everyone! Welcome to yet another Sunday edition of the weekly gratitude segment here. It’s been a whirlwind of a week starting off with a long weekend, a short but busy work week, and some health issues. But it’s time to look back with gratitude at the week from 24th January to 30th January 2021:

Starting a very hot Sunday with an early hike and swim with good company

Sunday afternoon burgers and beers

Beach time on Sunday {solo!} and Monday {with a couple of girlfriends}

Monday lunch catch up with a couple of friends

Getting a massage after almost a year

Gorgeous long weekend weather

Slightly less zoom-heavy days in the short work week

A really good GP who listens

Thoughtful messages and check-ins from friends and a very thoughtful offer to help out when I was struggling

A quiet and restful Saturday

I know most people write-off January and will be moaning that 2021 truly begins tomorrow. But, I do like January and yet, have been thrown into work for the most part. I hope for a bit more balance in the months ahead.

How has your week been?

Do share!

    Massages are the best Sanch, and I’m sure you enjoyed it after all that time! Hope your next few months give you some more balance as you’d like. Take care x

    Hi Sanch! Found you through Natalie’s Coffee Share.
    Love how you’ve given an update through words as well as images.
    “A really good GP who listens” – is the one that caught my eye … indeed a treasure as Doc who truly listen are difficult to come by!

    I’m one of those who thinks of January as a reset month & Feb for when the work starts. Having said that, February is traditionally the least favourite month of the year for me. Maybe it’s because being the month before my birthday it feels as though there’s a lot of finishing energy (& I’m not enamoured with finishing energy) or maybe it’s the heat & the humidity. Heavy sighs.
