2020 gratitude

Oh hey, lovely readers! This post is coming to you a bit later than usual but it’s still with the same intention of looking back at my week with gratitude. It’s been a busy and fulfilling week in many ways. So without further ado, here’s everything I’m grateful for from 8th November to 14th November 2020:

Sunday brunch

Finding my feet in the new role and enjoying it; handling risk situations and knowing I am capable of doing this

Really good supervision sessions with some of the clinicians I am going to be supervising

Private practice client mirroring some things I have dealt with but also giving me food for thought based on how I support them

Watching Helen Garner in conversation over Zoom

Catch up with a friend at her place mid-week

Going in to the office mid-week and being with a couple of people in my new team in-person and planning for the next three months

Wandering through a bookstore and not returning empty-handed

Dinner out on Friday night and a nice way to wind down after a busy, busy week

Saturday in the mountains with friends to celebrate one of their birthdays

It’s been a good week. Anxiety has been a friend ever so often about a few things but I’ve not let it overtake me completely so that’s been good.

How has your week been?

Do share!

Sounds like a great week and love that you’re showing anxiety who’s boss! Your day in the mountains looked amazing. It must be so interesting when you see you and your clients and situations mirror each other. I hope you’re as kind to yourself as you are to them 🙂

My boys and I wandered through a bookstore this weekend and none of us walked out empty handed; it did feel great!
