Weekly Gratitude 2020 22/52

2020 gratitude

Happy Sunday my lovely readers! Hope you’ve been having a fabulous weekend! I know mine has been pretty good. It’s been a lovely week despite busyness at work because I finally almost have my social life back again. Anyway, without further ado, here are all the things I’m grateful for from 24th May to 30th May 2020:

Family group chat across three continents

Drinks with a friend on Monday night

Good feedback from my manager as part of my probation review/performance appraisal

Supportive chats with a bloggy friend to help with some anxiety early in the week

Lovely evening walk mid-week after a few consecutive rainy days

Making homemade veggie pizza for dinner mid-week

Being able to support my team

Thursday night dinner at Sam’s – such good food, great company, and of course, Teddy cuddles!

Having friends over on Friday night for dinner – lots of laughs and a fun time

Visiting Better Read than Dead on Saturday and coming home with a book haul

Saturday night housewarming dinner at a friend’s place

Reading in a cafe again

It has been a good week and I’m glad things are slowly reopening and life is slowly getting back to what it used to be. I just wish gyms would open up soon {it still baffles me given they can open casinos and outdoor exercise equipment when gyms are likely to maintain higher hygiene standards!}.

How was your week?

Do share!

Until next time,

Apparently gyms are opening in qld – limited people but it’s a start. Maybe NSW will follow?

I can only hope! It’s all about the money I reckon. Pubs and pokies make more money than people just trying to stay healthy

Yep there’s a lot of political BS behind these decisions in my opinion.
