Weekly Gratitude 2020 9/52

2020 gratitude

Happy Sunday everyone! This is a very late gratitude post but I figure, better late than never, right? It’s been an interesting week where I’ve been struggling a bit with anxiety/dread for no particular reason but trying to take it one day at a time. Here’s looking back with gratitude at the week from 23rd February to 29th February 2020:

Spending Sunday with my friend from Melbourne and wandering through the city. I *may* have bought a few books as we visited bookstores in the city!

Having a zataar roll on Tuesday as I worked from south-west Sydney. The commute was awful but this kinda made up for it!

My friends LC and CC coming over on Tuesday night for dinner

The physio giving me more exercises to strengthen that rotator cuff

The opportunity to attend a free gig at The Factory Theatre – Between the buried and me were pretty good!

Fun Friday celebrations at work for the final Friday of the month  – it’s a nice way to meet people from other departments

Friday evening catch up with my friend JR in the city as we explored a couple of new spots

Good private practice day on the coast

Catching up with  friends on the coast for lunch and a drink

Being able to gym on most days this week

So yeah, despite all the anxiety, it’s been a decent week. I’m glad I have friends to reach out to in times like these and who will listen nonjudgmentally while I try and figure my shit out.

How has your week been?

Do share!

Until next time,

I haven’t been sharing my gratitude post of late. There is no reason as such. The blogging break I took from October and the India trip in December-January never brought back my blogging routine. So seeing your weekly gratitude post on my FB feed after a long time was a nice change and a gentle reminder. Why didn’t FB show me your previous posts – who knows!
I hope your arm is feeling better now, Sanch. I’m going through a similar pain which reduces when I exercise but follows me around. Friends who are there for us is a blessing. I’m glad that you have a good company there. ❤️
