Hi everyone! I’m backdating this post as it has been a busy week and weekend! I was so exhausted on Sunday evening I decided to not attend a free gig and preferred instead to lay on the couch and finish my book. It was a good decision but I kinda can’t help but wonder how the gig would’ve been. Anyway, it’s been a big week and I have a lot to be grateful for from 16th February to 22nd February 2020:
Brunch catch up with my friend NC after almost a year!
Brief catch up with my friend ZW as I picked her up from the airport on Sunday night
Attending my first ever Tool concert on Monday night and having an amazing experience!
A decent workshop for 3 days where I learnt a fair bit but also felt validated I’ve been doing the right thing
Mid-week drinks catch up
Attending my first ever B-list book club where Bri Lee chatted with Heather Rose. I enjoyed their chat, loved chatting with them and met some other lovely readers. I can’t wait for next month’s book!
My shoulder improving and the physio clearing me for some upper body exercises and deadlifts. No shoulder presses or arm exercises yet though but it’s good progress and I’m stoked!
Drinks with work colleagues on Friday night as a farewell for one of them
Watching the first game of the women’s T20 Cricket World Cup on Friday night. We didn’t win unfortunately but it was a great game and amazing to see the turnout
Catching up with my friends CN and SM during and after the game
Going all the way to Westmead to pick up some south Indian filter coffee that my mum had sent with a family friend and getting fed by them
Having my friend AU come over on Saturday evening from Melbourne and showing her around the area while enjoying dinner, drinks and long conversations
It’s been an exhausting week with not much sleep or exercise. I’m hoping to catch up on both in the coming week while still enjoying doing things.
