Weekly Gratitude 2020 3/52

2020 gratitude

Happy Sunday evening everyone! Hope you have been having a wonderful weekend. It’s been an overcast weekend with a bit of much-needed rain here. Despite starting the week off with tonsilitis, it has been a really good week on all counts. I’m still taking antibiotics but feel a lot better. Here’s what I’m grateful for from 12th January to 18th January 2020:

Joining the silent reading party as part of STFU Reading Society’s first Sydney event on Sunday

Being able to work from home on Monday when I had tonsilitis

Going for a beach swim after work on Tuesday

Having pizza made for me from scratch by someone very thoughtful

Being spoilt on my birthday at work with balloons and cake

All the lovely birthday wishes from friends and family

Attending my first book club since moving to this area – the girls were lovely and I’m really excited about this

A team bonding event on Friday morning

Rain, rain and more rain on Friday

Buying a new iPhone 11 – partly gifted by my sister

An important thing going through this week and reducing a lot of anxiety

Sharing birthday celebrations with two other Jan babies on Friday night with our group of friends

A lovely Saturday evening walking through Darling Harbour and then enjoying drinks at All Hands Brewery with great company

Relaxing Sunday doing life admin but also finding time to read

Lots of cat cuddles

It’s been a wonderful week and my heart is full. I feel quite content and can only hope this feeling lasts.

How was your week?

Do share!

Happy Birthday! And I’m so pleased you’re on the mend. I saw your book club meet on Instagram and it looked like tons of fun and yay for an iphone 11 (my minimalism does not apply to iphones!) I’m grateful that our puppy is feeling better and for the much needed rain at the weekend!

Here’s to a better year of wellness. I love how quickly you found a book club. Trent Dalton says he attributes his book’s success to Brisbane Book Clubs. Happy Birthday! I “had” to get a new phone after Iphone 6S+ was slowly loosing the will to continue. Mind you, after 5 plus years I did make it work hard. I ended up with the Iphone 11 Pro Max as price difference paying it off wasn’t too bad. This time, I added a year of Apple care.

So funny to run into each other at Maccas on Tuesday!!

Thank you for linking up for #lifethisweek. Next week’s optional prompt is 4/51 Australia 27.1.2020. Hope to see you there too. Denyse.
