Weekly Gratitude 2019 48/52

2019 weekly gratitude

Happy Sunday everyone! Can you believe we only have four more weeks to the end of the year? Seriously, where did 2019 go? It feels a bit like a blur. I will spend time reflecting on my year but that usually happens in the last week or so. Anyway, this week has been a massive week for me with the move and everything. Here is everything I am grateful for from 24th November to 30th November 2019:

Meeting my friend KH’s new rescue dog, Luna on Sunday – she’s a gorgeous greyhound

My friend LS coming over Sunday arvo to help pack some things, load my car and then spend time watching Thor Ragnarok

My friend DB helping me with moving heavier boxes on Tuesday

Being able to unpack kitchen and bedroom items on Monday and Tuesday

The move of all the furniture going smoothly on Wednesday – the movers were very careful with all my items and I really appreciated it!

The final move on Thursday with the cats in the evening going reasonably well. It was nowhere near as traumatic as the move up the coast – they did not wee themselves and while Pebbles still meowed for the most part, it was a sedated meow!

Being able to organise most of the house on Friday as well as have time to explore some of the new areas. I only have the study area to organise

Certain things working out well in terms of timing of the move

A good night’s sleep on Friday – it’s been an anxious and exhausting week but finally, on Friday night, I crashed and slept really well

Hitting the gym close to my new home on Saturday – it’s walking distance and that’s pretty fantastic

Catching up with my friends CN and SM on Saturday night for dinner at a Turkish restaurant in Enmore

Going to see Opus of a Machine and Glass Ocean play live at The Factory Theatre on Saturday night – and then not having to drive 90 minutes back to the coast!

It’s been a hectic week but one filled with gratitude. There was some stress around the old housemate who ended up being pretty flaky! Needless to say, I’m happy to be living alone again. I’m nervous and excited about starting my new job tomorrow. I still don’t have functioning internet at home but hopefully will have it by the end of the week. Anyway, here’s to forming new routines. Stay tuned for my November reflections tomorrow!

How has your week been?

Do share!

Until next time,

Cheers!!!
