Weekly Gratitude 2019 44/52

2019 weekly gratitude

Happy Sunday everyone! This edition of being grateful comes from an extremely overwhelmed me. And after a week where I’ve been sick for half of it. Regardless, it’s still important I look back at all that I’m grateful for from 27th October to 2nd November 2019:

A nice long hike on Sunday – 14 kilometres which wasn’t kind to my knees but felt refreshing nonetheless

Yummy Indonesian dinner after the hike

Being able to be present for a client on Monday and help them feel at ease

Having the ability to take sick days off work

A good GP who was very helpful; and good drugs for tonsilitis!

Final supervision session with my clinical supervisor of almost three years; he has been a great mentor and support and it has been invaluable

Getting 1400 words on day 1 of NaNoWriMo {Only got a hundred on the second day though!}

Driving through the streets of Sydney looking at rentals – grateful that I can do that and overwhelmed that I can’t find any decent ones within my budget at the moment

Having some time to wander through Dymocks in the city after a stressful morning of rental inspections

Catching up with my friend in Sydney after all the inspections for drinks and dinner

So yeah, it’s been a tad stressful. I’m rethinking my options of where I want to live in Sydney and feeling a bit frazzled by it all. I’ve slowly started clearing out some things and packing small things. The cats are beginning to sense something is up and have been more whiny and clingy. This coming week is also going to be my last week at my current workplace! Eek! And then I’ll have time off to house hunt vigorously, and hopefully, move before I start the new job. Wondering again why I’m frazzled???

How has your week been?

Do share!

    Urgh house hunting! I hope you find something you like in an area you like soon. Hope the drugs work their magic and that you feel better quick!

    Good luck with your house hunting Sanch, it is now wonder you are a bit frazzled with all you’ve got going on plus not being well. All the best for the weeks ahead, it’s a very stressful time moving and changing jobs but you’ve got this 🙂 . So glad you could still find some time to post about what you’re grateful for. I’m supposed to be packing for my 2 month trip overseas but seem to be perfecting the art of procrastination instead and loving it!! #lifethisweek

    You know why you are frazzled but this time of year is like that anyway…and you have added new job and rental seeking to the mix. Sure looking forward to our catch up. Has any dr recommended tonsillectomy or are your bouts few? Thank you for linking up for Life This Week. Next week’s optional prompt is 45/51 Share Your Snaps #9 11/11/19…the second LAST for 2019 (where did that year go!) Hope to see you there. Denyse.
