Weekly Gratitude 2019 43/52

2019 weekly gratitude

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you have had a great week. My week has been strange. There’s been a lot of good stuff and some not-so-great stuff. I haven’t exercised much this week at all and I think I’ve figured out why I’ve lost the motivation. I’m aiming to write a post on that later. On top of it all, I’m a little overwhelmed with life but in a reasonably good way. Anyway, here’s all the things I’m grateful for from 20th October to 26th October 2019:

Being offered a job in Sydney, getting the contract within a couple of days and resigning from my role up here. Yep, it’s happening people. I start the new role in December, which means I need to relocate in a month {Hence the slight overwhelm}

The excitement and nervousness of a whole new challenge that awaits me

Having friends who help me brainstorm life stuff

Loving cuddly cats

Catch up with a friend mid-week

Really supportive team leader who gave me a glowing reference albeit reluctantly

Getting some life admin on Saturday

Beach time on Saturday to help clear the head a bit

So yeah, most of what I’m grateful for is the fact that I managed to get a job in Sydney in what seems like a really nice work environment. But change comes with anxiety. And I’m anxious about the move, about leaving the friends I’ve made here, about starting a job in an environment I’ve never worked in before and bummed about not exercising regularly for my own mental health. I have two more weeks in my current job and then have some time off before I start the new one. Yay to change and freaking out silently while doing it!

How has your week been?

Do share!

Until next time,

    Congratulations! Yay – will definitely be able to see you when you’re a Sydney sider! I know change is scary but that’s when we grow the most! I know it seems a bit overwhelming now but in a month all the hard stuff will be done and dusted. Great news on the job and the down time you’ve allowed yourself before you start it 🙂
