Weekly Gratitude 2019 29/52

2019 weekly gratitude

Happy Sunday everyone! I sit here, basking in some late afternoon sunshine after a slow-ish sort of day. This is on the back of a pretty crazy week so I’m kinda glad I’ve had some down time. It’s time though for me to reflect on all that I’m grateful for from 14th July to 20th July 2019.

Exploring more of Brisbane on foot on Sunday including walking across the Story Bridge

Going for a night out by myself on Sunday in Fortitude Valley and chatting to people given I was by myself

Waking up in time to see the NZ men’s team unfortunately being robbed of the cricket world cup but also watching an amazing game!

Making it home to two cuddly kitties on Monday

Wearing a killer outfit to work one day because I needed a pick-me-up

Listening to good music that helps process my emotions

Achieving a personal best with hip thrusters this week, only because I actually couldn’t add properly in the morning – 80 kgs

Tidying up the house on Saturday morning – because I’ve been away for a few weekends in a row, it’s gotten to an unbearable stage. Sadly, my housemate doesn’t clean

Going in to Sydney on Saturday evening and spending it with good friends at the Rocks – we went to Lord Nelson Brewery and Hero of Waterloo – two places I’ve been wanting to check out

Really good beers at Lord Nelson – the porter and dark ale were fantastic!

It’s been an interesting week. I feel like I haven’t had time to stop and in a way, that’s not a good thing. I have another busy week of work and stuff coming up and I really think I need a day or two to process some life shit which I have been conveniently avoiding. Hopefully, I won’t push it away too long.

How has your week been?

Do share!

Lovely pics and I especially liked your outfit and the kitties in the photos – nothing like a cat pic to make me smile. Glad all’s going well with you and that you’re out and about and having fun xx

I love the fact you enjoyed your visit to Brisbane and your outfit is very special – sometimes we need a killer outfit as a pick me up don’t we? I love wearing red in winter as kit immediately lifts everything. You do sound as if life has been busy lately 🙂 #Lifethisweek

You’ve had a packed week! That’s a month worth of activities for me 😉

Ouch and a housemate who doesn’t clean! Why ever not? Create a roommate agreement a la Sheldon in the Big Bang Theory. Would make for a fun existence 😀

Also, outfit to boost the mood is so totally on point. I do that through the week 🙂 Cheers and wishes for a good week ahead and hopefully, a less packed one this time.

Killer outfit indeed! You go, girl!

You need a roommate agreement as Shy said. This person seems such a mess and I feel sorry for you. Maybe you should talk to her seriously and ask her to clean up after herself or just leave.

Wishing you another fabulous and much peaceful week ahead.

What a week…and good on you for your travel and adventures. Boo to the housemate who does not clean. I loved your bright skirt. Always wore red when I needed that extra bit of confidence!

Thank you for linking up for #lifethisweek. Next week’s optional prompt is 30/51 Share Your Snaps #6. 29/7/19. Hope to see you there too. Denyse.
