Weekly Gratitude 2019 26/52

2019 weekly gratitude

Happy Sunday you guys! This is the 26th weekly gratitude post for this year and that clearly means we are halfway done with 2019! I’m sure you knew that given it’s the last day of June. Once again, this is a late Sunday post as I’ve been away this weekend and got back this afternoon. Here are things I’m grateful for from 23rd June to 29th June 2019.

Spontaneous catch up for a cuppa with a friend after work

Visiting Sydney during the week and enjoying some time in Darlinghurst

Talking to strangers

Reading a wonderfully amazing book – How to make friends with the dark by Kathleen Glasgow – this book was the instigator for chatting with a stranger in a cafe

Long phone conversations with friends

Starting a book in a genre I don’t usually read because it was recommended by a friend and loving the premise and the writing!

gratitude week 26

Going to see a gig mid-week and really enjoying the music

Lunch with a couple of friends separately during the week

Having a lovely Airbnb for our weekend getaway close to the Hunter Valley. I found the best armchair and I really want one now!

Fun times with friends at the Hunter Valley wine festival, brunch before, and dinner after. There were some amazing wines and beers as well as great company

Real fire – at the Airbnb house and the campsite where some friends were staying

Good friends who look after me and don’t judge me when I’m a depressed drunk! It’s been years since I got drunk and it’s not pretty!

That’s been my week. Slightly busy at work but I’d been hanging for the gig midweek and then, the weekend away. It’s been quite lovely despite the big wet for four consecutive days.

How was your week?

Do share!

Until next time,

Sounds like a good week to me, Sanch. Reading a nice book, catching up with friends and finding that perfect armchair.

I want that chair. It looks just perfect. What’s the book you’re reading? Is it the one you said was not your regular genre? Sounds like you had a relaxed week with friends.

That chair looks like perfection! And yay for friends who are there for you through everything. The mid-week gig sounds like fun. I’m fact, I’ve found any mid-week outings to be that extra bit of fun – maybe because we’re generally just so caught up with the usual grind?

I have got that book on my TBR. This was the muse for your non-fiction post. 🙂
