Weekly Gratitude 2019 24/52

2019 weekly gratitude

Happy Sunday everyone! Well, most of Sunday is done and dusted and I’m coming to you a bit late in the day because I completed a 12 km run and then pretty much lay on the couch with exhaustion in the afternoon. More on that another time. For now, I want to focus on all the things I am grateful for from 9th June to 15th June 2019.

Training run on Sunday – managing to complete 8.35 kms in 53 minutes

Taking myself to a working lunch on Sunday to my favourite cafe

Buying beautiful roses from a local shop

Having my friends over on public holiday Monday afternoon for chats and cheese and crackers

Having my backyard all tidied up

Catch up with a book club friend on Wednesday night and enjoying the potatoes at the restaurant

gratitude week 24

Getting my sixth and seventh tattoos on Thursday night. I’m in love with both and stoked about how they turned out!

Challenging work week but fulfilling as well

Getting my tax returns for 2017-2018

Waking up to the news on Saturday that my short story was the editor’s pick at YeahWrite

Catching up with my friend N for brunch on Saturday

Having a friend from Sydney stay over on Saturday night and catching up in the process

It’s been a busy but short work week. I’m exhausted from the run today but also grateful I had a relatively quiet weekend otherwise. It’s another four-day week for me this week and I’m excited. It does mean a bust work week though.

How was your week?

Do share!

Wow my friend, 8 km in less than an hour! I can run for 1 minute without stopping. ? Loved your tattoos. I never felt the need to get inked yet. Maybe itโ€™s the needle. ๐Ÿ˜€ Wish you a fabulous week ahead. โค๏ธ

It was def a busy week Sanch and you packed a lot in. I’m such a slacker I’m always impressed by others who don’t loll around and whine cos they’re bored!

Congrats esp on the run – such an achievement! xxx

Congrats on your run! High five! Your new tats look fantastic. I would love to have more but I’m nearly 50 and running out of room (at least for where I’d like to put them!) Those roses are gorgeous, I love treating myself to flowers and yay for the yard. We have done some serious organising indoors and it is just so satisfying!

You have a great list of things to be grateful for! Many of them are a matter of attitude, I think, and that’s awesome.
Nice tats. I’ve never been brave enough to do it ๐Ÿ™‚
