Mother Nature weeps
as right-wing
conservatives cheer

Misogyny wins
bigots too;
Idiocy rules

This might be against the rules but this week, I’m rebelling and attempting a double Lune based on true events from the weekend. Your feedback is appreciated!

    Don’t know if it is a global thing or a local thing but this holds true right now across many key countries…. and the forecast is not great..

    I feel this is true of many countries. What a sad state we are in and this is 21st century.

    This is me unenthusiastically welcoming you to the new world order of the dumbest timeline. Greeting, we have nothing good.

      So relevant to pretty much every ‘first world’ country at the moment. Thank you for sharing your words.

    Well put Sanch. It’s true across the globe now. Dreading the results of the Indian elections.

    Great poem. Also, I am so sad that Australia has joined the USA in this idiocy. I am sorry that my own country elected Agent Orange and encouraged other nations to follow suit. The only silver lining is that it has busted many of us Americans out of our complacency and made us get involved in politics. Here’s to a future where we embrace love more than we embrace hate.

    I really liked how you structured this – the poem was accessible for me and its simplicity accented your point nicely.
