Weekly Gratitude 2019 16/52

2019 weekly gratitude

Happy Easter Sunday, dear readers! We’re having a long weekend here and I for one, am grateful for that because I’ve been hanging out for some time off. What’s an added bonus Down Under is another short week ahead due to Anzac Day this coming Thursday. But before I get ahead of myself thinking about the week ahead, it’s time to look back at all that I’m grateful for from 14th April to 20th April 2019.

Starting my Sunday with yoga

Catching up with a friend over brunch on Sunday

Sitting and watching the sunset by the beach

Seeing a client I had seen last year in private practice for a catch-up session on his request and finding out how much better he is doing

Slightly less stressful days at work {I’ll take what I can get!}

An awesome PT session – I managed to deadlift 60 kgs and do more reps than I normally do as well as leg press 110 kgs {for perspective, I weigh around 45 kgs so I am pretty stoked!}

Time to binge watch a TV series – Cardinal on SBS – it’s a pretty good crime show

Long weekend!

Catching up with my friends C and S on Friday and spending time with their puppy, Cavi, and eating yummy Vietnamese food at Cabramatta

Talking to my sister on Saturday

Meeting Denyse for a coffee catch-up on Saturday morning – always nice to meet fellow bloggers and even nicer when the conversation flows and you forget to take photos!

Spending a few hours at the beach on Saturday – it was not crowded at all {surprising for a long weekend!} and I read, swam, and soaked up the sun

That’s been my week. Interestingly, I didn’t think anything great had happened until I wrote this post and realised there actually was a lot to be grateful for in an apparently mundane week! And that doesn’t even include all the kitty cuddles I’ve been getting!

How was your week?

Do share!

    Oh wow, you have some strength at 45 kgs! That’s quite something. You’re lucky to live near the sea. Such a solace to escape to. Enjoy your weekend!

    Another pile of gratefulness. Lovely. But one question – you forgot to take photos at your meet up? How does that happen? Well? Enjoy this short work week.

    I’m grateful for long weekends, family and friends who are like family, sunshine and the fact that we finally painted our apartment (it only took us 6 years.) We had some dark brown walls and painted them white but for a little bit of work the difference is huge. Every time I walk into the room I get excited all over again. Oh and I went for my first run in (what feels like) forever. I know this week is short but hope yours is sweet! And if you don’t mind subtitles, check out the Belgian series The Clan (also known as the Outlaws) it’s black comedy/crime and it’s hilarious – on SBS!

    It was a good catch up for sure! No photos, who are we??
    I am so glad you got such awesome beach weather too. Just what you needed to revive for the…next short week!!

    Thanks for linking up for #lifethisweek. Next week’s optional prompt: is “1/3 of 2019 is over” and for me, that IS scary. Hope to see you there. Denyse
