Weekly Gratitude 2018 43/52

gratitude

Happy Sunday everyone! This week felt really long for some reason. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been working at a different place each day or whether I’m just trying hard to wrap so much up in a week or even just the poor sleep that it feels crazy. My mood has been on edge but the busyness helps sometimes. Anyway, it is time for me to look back at all that I am grateful for from 21st October to 27th October 2018:

Friends checking in on me

Practical advice from a friend

Feeling valued at the inpatient unit by patients and staff

Long text conversations that make me smile

Celebrating a friend graduating her masters with dumplings

Starting to outline a project I have in mind – this is more psychology-related but it could involve writing

Trent Dalton reading my post about his book and leaving a lovely tweet – I don’t know how he found it because I certainly didn’t tag him in this one!

Catching up with a uni friend and an old work friend for lunch on Saturday

Blogging a couple of times this week – even if they were book reviews and nothing creative

An evening in Sydney with my friend JR – enjoyable company, great conversations all while taking in what Sydney has to offer

And that’s a wrap! It’s not always been smooth-sailing especially given my poor sleep but it’s not been too bad either. I also realised the countdown to India has well and truly begun.

How was your week?

Do share!

Until next time,
