Weekly Gratitude 2018 32/52

This week’s gratitude post is a tad late but that’s because I had a busy Sunday. I must confess, I have been a bit stressed this week due to some personal stuff rearing its ugly head again and that in turn, has affected my immune system leaving me with a stupid cold. But, in spite of all that, I aim to focus on things I am grateful for from 5th August to 11th August 2018.

Running 7.7 kilometres on Sunday morning by the lake

A Sunday spent writing in the sunshine at my favourite cafe while listening to great music

Support from friends and the boyfriend while dealing with some shitty stuff

Good advice from some sources

Kitty cuddles when I was struggling emotionally

Book club with some amazing girls who are also very supportive friends

Watching Celia Pacquola’s stand up comedy on Friday night. She was so funny and brilliant!

Friday night ferry ride, dinner by the harbour and good company even though I was feeling sick and out of it

Doggy licks and cuddles

Chilled out Saturday visiting bookshops, writing and reading

That was my week. Emotionally draining and physically not-so-great but still a lot to be thankful for. I am very grateful for the people in my life. Without them, I’d be a complete wreck.

How was your week?

Do share!

Until next time,

    Hey San,

Running 7.7 kms? Good on you, I could never. I wish I was a runner but that, I am not. I find running boring, horrible on my knees and I get so bored. I envy runners and wish I was one of you. 🙂
Glad you’ve had the support of friends and your BF. I’ve been feeling like I’m in melt down mode all summer but I’m trying to keep that at bay and/both, breathing and just taking it freaking easy.

I was thinking of you this morning walking to the train, that we’re transitioning very, very soon (too soon! lol) to cooler weather and how freaking unfair and short our warm seasons are. It made me think of you and being cold and how you’re coming into your summer soon. We can be jealous of eachother’s climates in opposite seasons, deal? 🙂

Hope you’re doing well lovely….. xoxo
