Weekly Gratitude 2018 29/52

Happy Sunday, lovely readers! It feels like it has come around pretty quickly. This week has been a bit quieter socially which has meant a lot more writing and life admin during the week. Without further ado, here are some things I’m grateful for from 15th July to 21st July 2018.

Visiting the Sutherland Shire on Sunday for a walk and realising that it will always be home to me

A beautiful few hours in the shire walking the partner’s dog, reminiscing about my years in the shire, driving past my unit and just soaking it all in

Sunday afternoon drinks and dinner

Lots of laughs at work this week with colleagues

Being courageous about a lot of things in my life at the moment

Listening to a podcast – My dad wrote a porno – and literally laughing out loud. It’s so bad, it’s good

Being able to exercise four mornings this week and feeling great about it

Flexible private practice work so I could organise clients in a way that helped me leave early for a weekend away

Weekend getaway to the Blue Mountains with some great company

Lots of laughs, time to relax, read and write, great food and wine, beautiful scenery and just a wonderful atmosphere on Friday and Saturday in the mountains

So that’s been my week. Spent with some lovely people in some amazing places. I am just grateful overall to have the opportunity to visit these places here. And I do think in Australia, we are so very lucky.

How was your week?

Do share!

Until next time,

We are lucky here. Although I cringed on reading your weekend away in the Blue Mountains. I love them, but, it would be nearly as freezing there as here in chilly Canberra. I like what you do in your weekly gratitude and yes, Aussies from NSW are pretty happy about ‘the Shire’ and we love to return there.

The pictures are beautiful. Some places are so familiar that we know every nook and corner.
