Weekly Gratitude 2018 28/52

gratitude

It’s a late wrap up this week as I’ve been a bit busy this weekend. But it is still Sunday and time to reflect on all that I’m grateful for from 8th July to 14th July 2018.

A beautiful hike at La Perouse on Sunday. I still can’t believe I’d never been there when I lived in Sydney. It was a cold winter’s day but still perfect to walk along the coast

Book club with the girls and delicious food to go with it

Mid-week date at a cafe and wine bar attached to a bookshop with a literary-themed menu. We also caught live music

Good chat and lunch with my outgoing team leader

Really good supervision session with my supervisor

Waking up early to watch the England and Croatia soccer game

Dinner and drinks with the girls on Thursday night

Catch up with a couple of old colleagues and friends on Friday night

Having time to write on Saturday in a cafe

Watching a live gig on Saturday night at a small venue. Good times, good music, good fun

It’s been a good week. Quite indulgent, yet quite balanced. There has been a lot on my mind and a lot to think about but I’m trying to take it one step at a time. Because that’s all you can do.

How was your week?

Do share!

Until next time,

My week was not that great. Had a couple of bad days at work. Sometimes I wonder why am I still here. But it’s just not like me to give up. And even though I’m not happy at my job it gives me financial independence. I guess I’m being a chicken and the week just reinforced that. Hope you have a great week ahead.

You had a pretty good week. Loved the pictures you shared. Mine was just about so so. Had more downs than ups but I guess this is life. Looking forward to a new happy week.

I didn’t know there’s a hiking path in La Perouse. I can imagine how cold and windy it must be. Great views though.
I had a busy week too, but things are slowing down now so yippee… Have a great week ahead.

Yeah, it’s part of Botany Bay National Park. Go figure! I didn’t know until that weekend either. Glad to hear things are slowing down for you! 🙂

One step at a time is what I am doing too. Loved your pictures and as I read about your list, I felt it was balanced in a good way. Hope you continue to find joy and gratitude in things around you, Sanch.

Your weeks are so interesting. I hardly get anything done apart from work and the household chores! You accomplish so much in a week, wow!

The food looks so delicious and your hike venue is so damn gorgeous! It must be quite something to have such scenes around. In India, well we don’t want to talk about that 😛

I don’t really do many household chores each week. Laundry is the only thing I do weekly and cooking but cleaning is usually fortnightly or sometimes, monthly! 😛 Priorities.

But yes, nature here is amazing. I love the hikes and the outdoors.
