Weekly Gratitude 2018 16/52

gratitude

You may have noticed things have been a bit quiet on the blog lately. It’s because I’ve been busy in real life with a few things and consequently, haven’t had much time to blog or engage. I’ll be back eventually once I get a better schedule. Anyway, it’s that time of the week for me to reflect on all that I’m grateful for from 15th April 2018 to 21st April 2018.

Brunch and a walk in Sydney on Sunday with wonderful company

Text message conversations that make me smile and occasionally even laugh out loud

My manager approving me to cut down work days to four days a week

Planning private practice work and meeting some of the lovely practitioners who are part of it – I am going to start one day a week in May

Dumpling dinner with my friend N with great conversation and laughs

Being looked after and made to feel special in very thoughtful ways

Open and honest communication about vulnerabilities and fears

Lazy mornings – a nice change from the busy ones I usually have

Lots of laughs at work thanks to our dark and inappropriate humour

Attending a writer’s retreat from Friday evening – it’s still ongoing and day one has me rethinking several aspects of my work-in-progress

While my life is by no means perfect, I love that I can reflect on all the little things that make me feel happy and all that I am grateful for. I’m finding it’s a good mindset to have.

How has your week been?

Do share!

    Hey girl,
I’m so sorry I haven’t been around. I feel like I’m drowning lately and can’t keep up. My apologies, love.
Good for you for cutting down/getting your work week cutdown approved. I get the sense you’d like to move over to private practice eventually. I guess time will tell once you see how you enjoy the trade off of one day a week in private.
I love me some happy texts that make me smile or laugh out loud. I’m glad you’re being well taken care of. 😉 As you should, my dear.

Hope you’ve had a lovely week hun. xo
