gratitude

Happy Easter Sunday, everyone! Hope the long weekend is treating you well. I was so looking forward to the long weekend this week and am glad to finally enjoy it. Without further ado, here are some things I’m grateful for from 25th March till 31st March 2018:

Brunch with friends on Sunday

Some really positive development regarding my psychology career

Finishing off with two depressed and suicidal clients with positive outcomes

Great supervision session with my supervisor. I thank my stars I reached out to him to be my supervisor last year; he is knowledgeable and fricking awesome!

Receiving a book – The Dark Lake by Sarah Bailey – and a lovely card from Jodi after winning her giveaway

Rose from my garden, the book from Jodi, cheese and wine, kitty cuddles, nice book of poetry

Poetry flowing with ease in a matter of fifteen minutes

Long weekend

Catching up with my friend and ex-flatmate Z after her discharge from hospital. Glad to know she is on the mend.

Going to the markets at Shelly Beach with a friend

Working out six days this week

I guess for the most part, it was a regular week. Not too many highs or lows but definitely a lot to be grateful for.

How has your week been?

Do share!

I’ve never really read poetry, although of late have been drawn to some lines from the classics. I do, however, love the title of that book! My week? I have to admit to struggling this week – mostly in regards to the day job. Even small wins were largely absent. I am, however, grateful that I work from home & that my day job soundtrack is my dog snoring beside me.

I went on a mini-break this week, so a tremendous lot to be grateful for :). Wish you a lovely week ahead!

So pleased to hear you had a reasonably good week, Sanch. I am of the belief that it’s fine to have a moderate week. Sometimes, excitement can be overrated. And kudos on the work front and the good outcomes with the clients. What an incredibly fulfilling job!

    Hey girl,
Hope you’re having a good week and having plenty of wonderful, happy things planned for this coming weekend.
Your job developments sound positive and I hope there’s some happy news coming soon. Or maybe a move? 🙂
Always love your kitty pictures and that flower is beautiful. That reminds me, I’d love to get some flowers this weekend, I’m looking for potted ranunculus though and they can be hard to find. We shall see.

I’ll talk to you soon my friend. xoxox
