Weekly Gratitude 2018 9/52

gratitude

Hello everyone from beautiful Adelaide! Happy Sunday! I hope you have all had a good week. My week has been busy, busy and yet, very enjoyable particularly towards the end. Here are some things I’m grateful for from 25th February to 3rd March 2018.

Housewarming at a friend’s newly designed apartment. Good food and great laughs.

Being alive and well. If you saw my Instagram post last Sunday night, you probably know about my car skidding on wet roads even though I was driving slowly. It turned the opposite direction and I’m just glad nothing worse happened and that there wasn’t much traffic.

Getting through the four-day work week with some help from friends

Dinner and staying over at my friend CN and her husband’s place the night before leaving on a holiday

CN’s husband, SM dropping me off at the airport early in the morning

Holidays!

Exploring Glenelg and Adelaide

A lovely AirBnB room and hosts

Having the beach at Glenelg north almost entirely to myself {there were two other people on this massive stretch!}

Delicious food and drinks in Adelaide so far – sweet and savoury {Yes, I’m going to get fat in a week!}

Having the owner of Burganomix shout me a beer to try out because he thought I might enjoy it in addition to the one I purchased

Listening to authors such as Sofie Laguna, Anna George, Vivek Shanbhag, and Michelle de Krester and adding more books to my TBR pile

So that’s been my week. I am still in Adelaide so forgive me if I don’t visit your blogs this week. I will aim to do so most nights but, walking around heaps means I’m usually tired. Plus, I have been reading my book most nights instead of coming online.

What was your week like?

Do share!

    Hey sweetie,
    Oh my gosh, I’m so glad you’re okay. You’re right, it could’ve been so much worse! Eeek!
    How nice of your friends to let you stay with them and your friend’s husband driving you to the airport. 🙂 Your pictures look beautiful. I bet it was so nice to get away and have a change of scenery. A nice rest and recharge.

    I hope you’re having a great week love. xo
