Happy Sunday my lovely readers! Doing this weekly gratitude post makes me realise Sundays come around really quickly! 😀 This week has been one hell of a week. I had to take a sick day on Wednesday after not getting much sleep the night before due to some personal stressors and work stress. As a result, work seemed even more hectic and frantic as I only had three work days. Anyway, there was still a lot to be grateful for this week from 18th March to 24th March 2018.
Living close to the beach and being able to access it on a hot Sunday
Wonderful friends who reach out when you have a sick day and check in on you regularly and continue to check in during the week knowing about your stressor
Having time to write in a café on a day off
Having a welfare teacher from a school request me to talk to bunch of students on anxiety based on our interactions on the phone about some clients
Some progress on the professional front in terms of future goals
Eating reasonably healthy during the week except for a slip up on Friday night
Remembering why I do the work I do in mental health
Catching up with friends for a yummy Japanese dinner on Saturday night
So that’s been my week. Some good stuff. Some not so good stuff. But that’s life and I will take it in my stride. I’m back again tonight 8:00 p.m. AEDST on Instagram with a live video about my goals for the week ahead with regards to writing, blogging, exercise and diet.
