Weekly Gratitude 2018 12/52

Happy Sunday my lovely readers! Doing this weekly gratitude post makes me realise Sundays come around really quickly! 😀 This week has been one hell of a week. I had to take a sick day on Wednesday after not getting much sleep the night before due to some personal stressors and work stress. As a result, work seemed even more hectic and frantic as I only had three work days. Anyway, there was still a lot to be grateful for this week from 18th March to 24th March 2018.

Living close to the beach and being able to access it on a hot Sunday

Yoga classes

Wonderful friends who reach out when you have a sick day and check in on you regularly and continue to check in during the week knowing about your stressor

My sister

Having time to write in a café on a day off

Having a welfare teacher from a school request me to talk to bunch of students on anxiety based on our interactions on the phone about some clients

Some progress on the professional front in terms of future goals

Eating reasonably healthy during the week except for a slip up on Friday night

Remembering why I do the work I do in mental health

Catching up with friends for a yummy Japanese dinner on Saturday night

So that’s been my week. Some good stuff. Some not so good stuff. But that’s life and I will take it in my stride. I’m back again tonight 8:00 p.m. AEDST on Instagram with a live video about my goals for the week ahead with regards to writing, blogging, exercise and diet.

How has your week been?

Do share!

Beach, Yoga and close friends are, I believe, the best part of Life. And, you had all three cheering you up during the ups and downs of your past week. So, yayyy for you!

You’re right about the weeks passing by whether you count them Sunday to Sunday or Monday to Monday. My week was busy too. Last Sunday I was getting ready to come back home and this Sunday I’m already a week old into my old life! It seems as though I never left at all……But I’m glad to be back though I’m missing the family left back in the US

Hope you are feeling better now. I wish I lived near to the beach… It has been one of my dreams, but the prices! Sigh!
Do you still write about mental health? I remember you had started writing about it but not sure if it’s on a separate site.

I’ve begun to look forward to your weekly gratitude posts 🙂 They give me such a warm, wonderful way to begin the week and am so happy for you and your progress.

Your work in mental health, especially, is something that deeply impresses me, since I know how much of a toll it can take on one. Big hugs and kudos on the progress on the professional front.

Hope you’re feeling loads better. I’m grateful to have good friends from overseas, sunshine, a trip to Melbourne and for being able to see The Minimalists live. It’s been a great week of making memories!s
