Broken fences

broken fences

A mistake she was;
unwanted, unloved
belonging to none

A house, not a home,
a bed, no shelter;
her life, lacking warmth

Abused, belittled
unsure of herself
yet, trusting no one

Shattered to pieces
those broken fences
cannot be repaired

    Loved this, Sanch. So poignant and heartbreakingly beautiful emotions, that you’ve created in such few words.

    This breaks my heart. Hope she finds the strength to do something for herself and shine.

    Heart wrenching and brutally crisp with naked emotions Sanch – hurt and pain are stretched vividly across these lines!
