Weekly Gratitude 2018 8/52

gratitude

Hello lovely readers! It’s Sunday evening here and while my weekly gratitude post is a tad late, it’s still on Sunday. I’ve had a bit of a busy weekend which explains the delay. To be honest, this work week has been pretty fucked up and one I would like to erase from memory. But, life is like that. You have to take the shit with the good. Without further ado, here are some things I am grateful for from 18th February to 24th February 2018.

Driving back from the South Coast on Sunday and stopping at beautiful Berry

Exercising six days this week

Book club mid-week – lots of laughs and ah-ma-zing Lebanese food

Building rapport with some new clients

Having super-supportive colleagues on Friday when I had a client crisis; one did a psychometric assessment for another client of mine while I dealt with the crisis, another bought me coffee, another made some phone calls I had to make, another faxed some paperwork and everyone else were supportive throughout

Meeting someone for potential private practice work and getting a good vibe

Movie night at home with a couple of my girlfriends

So many cuddles and purrs from Pebbles on Saturday

An afternoon nap on Saturday

Ten-pin bowling with friends on Saturday night

So yes, while it was a busy and stressful week, I do appreciate my friends and colleagues. And my cats. They all know when I need support and are quick to offer. And I’m learning to ask for help too.

It’s a shorter week next week as I head to Adelaide for a short break. I’m hoping there aren’t too many dramas at work or outside.

How was your week?

Do share!

So grateful for my colleagues! There are some crazies in management but the teams are great. And yes, the kitties…ah, best medicine for stress! πŸ˜€

Your weekly gratitude posts always make me smile, Sanch πŸ™‚

For one thing, you literally look at each day in itself and the week as a whole and find so many things to be grateful for. What a lovely thing is a gratitude habit πŸ™‚
Also, really glad that you are learning to ask for help. I learnt that very late in life and it took almost killing myself to learn that it wasn’t something to be ashamed of. Good on you!

Aww thanks Shailaja πŸ™‚ It’s been really good doing this as I notice myself searching hard for the good each night. Even when things have been shitty! πŸ™‚

Oh goodness…asking for help is hard! But I’m slowly getting there.

Aww what a lovely post <3 Good for you, for getting in 6 days of exercise in one week! That's super impressive πŸ™‚ and also yay for book clubs and Lebanese–it's one of my favorite kinds of cuisines! And you probably know about my love for furry animals, but if not… well, they make everything better, don't they? πŸ™‚ Hope you have a great week ahead!

Supportive colleagues can make such a difference to a hectic week.
    Six workouts? I’m so envious!
Hope this week has been better so far.

Loving all the pictures of you and kitty together. πŸ™‚ Isn’t it great when you have supportive colleagues? It makes such a difference, in my opinion and it’s nice to have others to fall back on should you need it, right? I can rely on mine to a certain degree, but it’s very much ‘fend for yourself’, which if you ask me, that’s not a team player or a supportive one.

Girl, six workouts?! You on FIRE! πŸ™‚ Good job momma.
Movie nights, naps and bowling sounds like loads of fun. πŸ™‚

Hope you’re having a wonderful week my dear. xo
