Dear Santa: The 2017 edition

Dear Santa,

It’s only three more sleeps to Christmas. While I don’t really celebrate Christmas, I have tended to spend Christmas days with partners’ families. This year though, being single, I’m not going to be celebrating Christmas day as such. But I don’t really mind.

Anyway, so what do I want for Christmas this year?

One of the things I would like is my writing mojo back. I’ve struggled the last couple of weeks and I don’t know if that’s the heat or end of year exhaustion speaking. I really want to finish my manuscript by the end of the year so a bit of a creativity kick would be nice for Christmas.

Apart from that, it’s been a hectic year. I have been burnt out and while I did have a week off in November, I long for a relaxed state of mind for the rest of this year.

I hope my loved ones – pets, friends and family – remain in good health emotionally and physically.

Finally, I just want to continue to strengthen the connections I’ve already made and be open to receiving more connections in the future.

I hope that’s not too much to ask, Santa.

Sanch {who hasn’t always been nice this year!}
