Flash Fiction

The big reveal #FridayReflections

The children watched with bated breath as the magician plunged the final sword into the crate. He covered it with a red robe and swirled it around.

‘Voila!’ he said, opening the crate to reveal nothing but the swords.

The children gasped. ‘Where’s Billy?’ asked one.

‘A magician never tells,’ said the magician. He grinned and shut the crate, taking time to remove the swords.

No one saw the blood seeping through the back on to the grass.

Very very dark and sinister Sanch. That also a magician at a kids party!! Macabre twist – I had thought he would have kidnapped the child under the guise of a magic trick! Damn!

Magicians make use of grant illusions and blinding others eyes for a living, but are hardly known for spilling real blood. Hum!

That was unexpected!! Nice dark twist. This time even the magician didn’t knew what trick was being played.

When we see acts like that, we almost expect something like that to happen. I would never get into one of those boxes!
