10 things that made me happy {Week 36}

It’s the weekend again! This has felt like a long week and it’s been one of those weeks I’ve just been cranky and irritable. It might have been acting as team leader for a week while still having my regular caseload or it might have been the first full week in a while after public holidays and training making my weeks short. Anyway, this isn’t the time to whinge. It’s the time to reflect on the good, the grateful and the happy from 14th October till 20th October 2017.

Going to an author event and having a small chat with the author, Sofie Laguna while getting my book signed

Games night with new friends

Having the lovely Ashleigh come over my way for a hike last Sunday

Endless conversations with Ashleigh about cats, creativity, writing, exercising, blogging, mental health and life in general

Acting up as team leader for the most awesome team ever

Book club with some awesome ladies who are now good friends

Planning social gatherings with these ladies and work friends

Receiving my invitation to the awards presentation ceremony for the short story competition {It now feels real!}

The arrival of my bullet planner for 2018

Friday night drinks and laughs to farewell a colleague going on a secondment

So how was your week? What have you got to be grateful for?

Do share!

    Hey girl,
    I’m so sorry – things have been nuts over my way and I’ve been slacking so hard, read BEHIND, not slacking. Lol.
    Your friends cat blog is cute. ๐Ÿ™‚ She seems like a lovely gal.
    I like the planner you chose. I’m going completely freestyle next year. I think I’m going to get a Leuchtturm 1917 and follow some other biker journal bloggers tips and how they like to plan it out. It’ll be allll drawn out which slightly stresses me out because sometimes I like to flip ahead and there’s no way I’m drawing out an entire year in advance… maybe a month or two at a time. Should be interesting, that’s for sure.

    I hope things have calmed at work for you. ๐Ÿ™‚
