Independent and free
I live by my own rules;
As I’m not here to please
I will not suffer fools

So when asked on a date,
Witty conversation
I do appreciate

by pretending to care
in your haughty voices

It has a good flow, and almost flawless syllable count, though I admit it could come down to how you choose to pronounce a word “being”. In the third line of the fourth stanza you write “I enjoy being alone”, which I count to be seven syllables. Changing this to “I like being alone” would fix the count, and keep the message you try to convey.
