I like to rhyme
From time to time
Pen an ode
When I’m bored
Write a sonnet
When there’s a bee in my bonnet
Or sing a ballad
As I eat my salad
Some thoughts are deep
Others, just cheap
And yet I’ll write
Late into the night
Churn those words
No matter how absurd
‘Coz I like to rhyme
From time to time

22 March 2017 at 7:54 pmI think my meter can be off in some poems but lately, I’ve been trying my best to follow that. To be honest, I need to read more about poetry — info about iambic pentameters and stuff goes way over my head! And this after I studied English Lit for two years 😛
