In January, I successfully took a photo each day as part of my Flourish Inside Out challenge. I must admit, I’m already noticing how observant I’ve become daily as I try to look for something to capture. Something that will instil hope in some way.
I’ve read four books in January and reviewed two of then: Selection Day and Breathing Under Water. In January, I moaned about my lack of self-discipline but also signed up for the 12WBT challenge which commences next week. I also spoke about my pessimism which is one of the reasons why I’m doing my Flourish Inside Out challenge. I mused about early mornings and I’m pleased to say, I’ve been waking up at 5 again this year without too much difficulty. I share some tips about living in a share-house and also mused about removing toxic people from my life.
Off the blog, life has been pretty okay. I turned thirty-three, exercised as regularly as possible, enjoyed going to work and hitting the beach often. I had friends visit one weekend and another friend come over on Australia Day and a dear friend visit from the UK. I’ve not enjoyed the stinking heat probably more so because the place I live in is like a sauna unlike my unit in Sydney. I’ve enjoyed watching the cats play in the backyard and explore new smells and sounds. And finally, I’ve just liked exploring some new places, meeting new people and doing new things whilst knowing there’s so much more to see.
I’m looking forward to February. I hope it’s a good month especially on the health and fitness front. I am continuing my Flourish Inside Out project with the focus on love. More on that tomorrow.
