This past week has been a busy one. I’ve enjoyed it even though it means this Sunday, I’m tired. After having 10 days off work, I’ve worked 6 days this week. It has meant going back to being organised, early mornings and not enough time at home. But it’s still been memorable. Here are 10 things that made me happy from 16th January to 22nd January 2016.
Mr Imperfect baking a cake for my birthday
My friends bringing a cake for my birthday when we caught up
Getting my hair done and loving it
Starting my new job
Working out everyday during the week
Preparing almost all my meals this week
A wonderful and inspirational new staff orientation day
A stranger inviting me under their umbrella on a very rainy Friday
Reading Daring Greatly by Brené Brown and having so many epiphanies
So yeah, on the whole it was a pretty good week. I felt positive most of the time and loved the silver linings this week. I didn’t blog as much as I would have liked to but I’ll get back into it again once I get used to a new routine.
