10 days into the new year, and life has been interesting. I feel like I’ve been running a marathon and have only just finished and am now cooling down. Why? Because I was frantically spending four days this week finishing off reports at work and then wrapping up. It’s only been this weekend that I’ve really, really relaxed. And I mean RELAXED! Anyway, looking back at the past week, here’s 10 things that made me happy from 2nd January to 8th January 2016.
Catching up with J and her partner for dinner
Eating a yummy Masala dosa after ages
The most gorgeous chocolate tart {Yes, I know I was cutting down sugar, but this was the first sugary treat I had!}
Back at the gym on Monday and Tuesday
Feeling very loved at work and receiving a whole bunch of stationery as a farewell present
Officially finishing up this job after 5 years
Mr Imperfect cooking me dinner one night
Having me-time at home while Mr Imperfect is off pet-sitting
Heading off on Friday down to Surf Beach for a solo holiday
Stopping at Berry for lunch en route to Surf Beach
