10 things that made me happy {Week 17}

We are three days into 2016 already. Have you made any resolutions or goals for the year? Broken any yet? Mr Imperfect claimed he would give up alcohol for 2016; I warned him against it but he said he needed to detox. Less than 48 hours into the new year and he cracked open a bottle of cider with dinner. So much for resolutions, huh?

I prefer making goals or plans. If you haven’t read my goals and word for 2016, you can check out my Hello 2016 post. Moving on to the point of this post, it’s that time of the week when I look back at 10 things that made me happy. Here’s what made me happy from 26th December 2015 till 1st of January 2016.

Having pyjama days

Finished binge-watchingย The Killing. Such an awesome show!

Pebbles and Buttons sleeping with or on me all night

Reading

Thai food

happywk17

Homemade potato pizza

New Year’s eve games night

Hot chocolate on New Year’s Eve

Saying goodbye to 2015 and welcoming 2016

Beach day on the first day of the year

How did you celebrate NYE? Made any goals or resolutions for the new year?

How was your week?

Do share!

***Linking with Lindsay and Krysten for 10 things that made me happy***

Until next time,

Cheers!!!

Resolutions should come with a ‘fragile’ tag – they never do last. I have hopes and wishes for the new year and am hoping I can make some of them come true. Your happy list is lovely – pajama days, hot chocolate, a day on the beach…. sounds like a good start to 2016.

I am all for new year resolutions. They give a sense of direction and writing them down makes you accountable towards change/ growth that you are looking at! Have made some goals for self and I am hoping that I am able to stick with them for all of 365 days of this brand new year! Home made potato pizza sounds and looks yum. A very happy and joyous 2016 to you, Sanch โ™ฅ

I stopped making resolutions back in my 30s (49 now) because I never kept them. Like you, I do goals and a WORD each year now. Suits me better and get so much more accomplished ๐Ÿ™‚ I too have watched The Killing… such an awesome show! Have a wonderful year!

I made some goals for 2016, but no resolutions. I’ve never been able to keep those. lol And this reminded me that I need to finish watching The Killing. I’m on season three. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hahaha..I am never able to stick to one single resolution for the entire year. Most of my resolutions never make it past January.
This year I have certain broad goals, and a rough plan to achieve them. ๐Ÿ™‚
