It’s time for another edition of 10 things that made me happy. This week has been a bit up and down. Sure, I have things to fill up this list but I’ve had some down days too. Even though Christmas was pretty good, I wasn’t really looking forward to it. Anyway, looking back at the week from 19th December till the 25th of December, here’s what made me happy.
Seeing The Sound of Music musical at the Capitol Theatre
Hitting the beach on Sunday
Mr Imperfect cooking pumpkin risotto for dinner
Saying an emotional goodbye to one of my clients on Wednesday as I completed a handover
Purchasing a beautiful second-hand wooden rocking chair
Watching The Killing on Netflix on my sick day. I’m hooked!
Me-time on Christmas eve
Lamb roast for dinner on Christmas eve
Getting books from Mr Imperfect as my Christmas pressies and a cute cushion
Christmas breakfast with Mr Imperfect’s mum and step-dad and then lunch with his dad, aunt and half-siblings

I’m so sorry to hear your significant others contract wasn’t renewed. Looking for employment is SO stressful. Sending lots of positivity and luck your direction.
You know that saying, fake it til you make it? Sometimes you just have to slap a smile on and pretend and sometimes, sometimes there’s good that becomes of it. I hope it was an alright Christmas, considering.
I’d love to be on a beach right now. We just got snow over night *whomp whomp* I suppose it’s time, we had a green Christmas, which is just unusual and not right at all, considering this is Canada.
Anyways, I hope you’re enjoying some down time, love.
