10 things that made me happy {Week 10}

It’s been a week of ups and downs. I kinda lost my blogging and writing mojo even though I’ve signed up for NaNoWriMo. I wrote for a couple of days this week and then somehow, life and life stressors got in the way. I have something brewing at the moment which is good but distracting at the same time. I hope to share within the next month. But yeah, suffice to say, I haven’t written as much as I’d like. It’s not all doom and gloom though. Here are 10 things that made me happy between 31st October and 6th November 2015.

Saturday night dinner with friends

Going for the Walk for a cure event in Centennial Park on Sunday to raise funds for brain cancer research

Having 15 seconds of fame on the Weekend Today show as part of the Walk for a cure event

Hitting the beach on Sunday

Getting more hours of sleep this week


Starting my writing project {I don’t know where it’s going but that’s not the point}

Chatting with my mate A on the phone for about an hour. I miss having him to talk to daily at work

Thursday night spontaneous date night watching The Intern

Eating healthy again

Exercising consistently and loving my pilates classes

I love how this weekly linkup forces me to look at the good stuff. You realise it’s not so hard to find the silver linings after all.

      Haha…yes, I’m famous. My friend was watching the Today show and sent me the photos 😛 Totally agree at how amazing exercise is.

    I’ve had roommates at work who have left for other jobs, so I know how it feels to miss being able to talk with a certain person at work everyday. I treasure the moments when I get to properly catch up with them and am glad you were given the chance to this week.

    Well, exercise took a back seat to family activities. I miss moving more, but so loved the joy of being with the ones I love the most.
