10 things that made me happy Week 1

In an attempt to start focussing more on the positive and the good in my life, I was delighted to find a blog hop that commences every Friday. Here are 10 things that made me happy from 29th August till 4th September 2015:

Spending Sunday writing

Getting the most awesome motivational cards from my sister. She was inspired by others but made them herself

Buying flowers for myself and then having Mr Imperfect buy me some too to lift my mood

Dinner and a games night with my friends J and R

Mr Imperfect and I winning Cranium against J and R {No, I’m not competitive at all!}

happyweek1

These were up on Instagram initially: @sanchlivinglife

Catching up with some other friends on Thursday night

Texting a friend, realising we’ve been friends for 10 years and cherishing it

Booking a weekend away with J, R and Mr Imperfect in October

Catching up for lunch with a friend from my writing course

Having my therapy session

What are some things that made you happy this week?

Do share!

So happy and grateful you linked up with Krysten and I. I think no matter how small or large, everything counts and it’s important to acknowledge these moments. 🙂

Those flowers are just beautiful. Flowers make me incredibly happy. 🙂

Enjoy the rest of your labour day weekend! xo

Thanks Lindsay, I love this concept as it’s making me look hard at the little things. And flowers really do brighten up our day! 🙂

What made me happy: spending time with family. Doing some much-delayed cleaning and shopping. Good food. Having a medical problem (apparently) improve without me needing to go to the doctor.
