The Month That Was

The month that was May 2014

It’s the first day of winter today. And Sydney’s grey and gloomy weather is a perfect start. Not. May was a great month for me. Like almost every other month in the last year, it was busy. The highlight of the month was on the second last day when I got myself a tattoo. πŸ˜€

Apart from that, May was also the month when I took my road trip. It was one where I went with no plans and it had the most spontaneous start. I managed to visit Eden, Bermagui and Wallaga, Tilba Tilba, Narooma, Tuross Heads, Durras and Mogo apart from taking detours and stopping at several other places along the far south coast.Β Each place was more spectacular and more fascinating than the other making me feel fortunate for living in this wonderful country of ours.Β It was truly an amazing holiday and I feel refreshed and recharged ready to get back to work tomorrow.

I was lucky to get the opportunity to watch a preview of The Fault in our Stars after my trip as well. The rest of the month was busy socialising, and recovering from the April A to Z Challenge.

As we head into June, I am looking forward to a couple of camping trips this month and also hosting about 8 friends over for dinner at my place. I haven’t ever done that before so it will be interesting. I will be cooking. No pressure! πŸ™‚ It is getting colder but hopefully, it won’t be too bad.

How was you month of May?Β

Do share!

Until next time,
