Each day as I open my Feedly reader, there are several updates from the gazillion blogs I follow. I follow blogs for different reasons: ones that speak to me because we have a lot in common, ones that are passionate about similar causes as I am, ones that write beautifully, ones that are in the same stage of life as me or ones that make me laugh almost every time. So today as part of the Festival of Words, I am sharing some blog love and listing 8 blogs I love to follow and I think you would love too. In no particular order:

(c) Over Cups of Coffee
My soul-sister, the very first blogger I ever met in real life: Radhika and I share an uncanny almost telepathic relationship and in a weird way were possibly separated at birth {which can’t be the case as she’s a year younger than me!}. We both came to Australia and probably feel more Australian than Indian. We have blogged about similar issues minutes or seconds after one another. She is currently doing something oh-so-inspirational where she quit her job and along with her partner, is travelling the world. Or some countries of the world. She just needs to blog a bit more 😉
I have followed Titaxy for many years now. She had a bit of a break in 2013 but I’m glad to say is back with a bang in 2014. She weaves words together in a beautiful manner and her personal stories about love, life, books and travel are a delight to read. Welcome back to blogging T! 🙂
Kinmin’s blog is one I have only recently started following and find her posts thought-provoking and entertaining. She has been blogging since 2009. I am still getting to know this 27 year old blogger who is working on her PhD and who loves the beach.
Zita started blogging in 2013 and I followed her as she was blogging about 12WBT which I had completed back in 2012. I guess the fitness aspect drew me to her blog which later uncovered other sides of Zita’s personal life. In her 30s and living in Queensland, Zita is one of the few non-mummy bloggers I follow {not that there’s anything wrong with mum-bloggers…I follow a lot of them!}. While she still occasionally wonders about a niche for her blog, I must say I love the personal element to it.
TTS is another blog I have only started following this year. I think she is a kindred spirit — being in her 30s and well, single. I am loving her stories of single life and dating and having been set up. Her life, as she says it, could have been made into a sitcom! Oh and we share a love for Harry Potter! 😀
Molly writes about writing and provides us with general tidbits from her daily life. I love how she is so true to herself and share her love for reading, writing, hiking and well, cats. Yes, Molly has a gorgeous ginger kitty and I follow her antics on Instagram. She also has some amazingly cool tattoos! Molly. Not the cat.
She is also on the new blogs in 2014 list and writes about her personal life. Somehow I feel a sense of connection with Metagravity. Maybe because I have been there in some instances. I am still getting to know her but I do like her honesty. I wonder whether her using a pseudonym and an avatar as a photo has something to do with the connection as well given I started out blogging that way.
Eden is an Aussie blogger and her honest and raw posts have never failed to blow me away. She keeps it real as she blogs about her family, her loves, her adventures, the people she meets and her struggles with mental health. She travelled to India a couple of years ago as a World Vision ambassador and it was amazing to follow her journey there. She met and interviewed Julia Gillard when she was our PM. On the whole though, I’m in awe of her. I reckon I’d be tongue-tied if I did meet Eden.
So there you go, sharing some love for the blogs I follow! There are several other blogs I stalk and you can find them here.
***Written for Write Tribe Festival of Words Day 2: Blog Love***
Until next time,
Cheers!!!
