I was supposed to be at the SCG today

About a week or so ago I had these dreams that I would be blogging some time tonight about an Aussie victory after having watched it live from the stands. You know, because it was Day 4 of the final test on the 6th of January 2014. And we’d bought tickets as the other three days sold out in a matter of 15 minutes! Given that the previous four games had gone on to at least day 4, I was pretty confident I’d be cheering from the stands.

But Clarkey and his men had other ideas. And finished the whitewash on Day 3 itself. Which meant while I cheered from my lounge room, I was disappointed at not being able to watch the game at the SCG. It was bittersweet watching the post-match celebrations. Wondering how many goosebump moments I could have had cheering with others in the vicinity.

For now, just gloating about 5 – 0 will have to suffice. 😀

Oh, and what am I doing today?

Well, I decided to save my RDO for another time and rocked up at work instead to catch up on administrative matters {read: reports and paperwork!} before the whirlwind year starts from tomorrow.
